ATM/Debit Cards

Our ATM card can be used anywhere you see the Mastercard, Star, Maestro, NYCE, Cirrus, American Express, Plus, Co-Op, VISA or Alliance One logo. Members with a Share account are eligible for an ATM card. There is a $24 annual fee for this card.

The VISA Debit card can be used for purchases anywhere the VISA logo is displayed. The amount of the purchase will then be deducted from your checking account at the time of the transaction. There is no annual fee for a VISA Debit card. Debit cards can also be used to withdrawal money from your account at ATMs. Our debit card is a great way to quickly access your funds. We're bringing chip cards to all of our VISA Debit cardholders.

Information programed into the chip is personalized for your account and each transaction is unique, adding a new safeguard against fraud. Your current card will be replaced with a new chip card as your current card expires.

Debit Card Safety

Please use the following suggestions to keep your debit card as secure as possible:

1.) Never use your PIN number when making purchases. Instead, run the transaction as “credit” and sign for the transaction.

2.) Never keep your pin number with or near the debit card. If your card is compromised and the pin number is with the card, you will be held liable for all transactions.

3.) Look for any parts of the purchase terminals that appear loose or altered. This could indicate the presence of a “skimming” device. “Skimming devices” are used to store the card number, pin number and expiration date of any card that is swiped through that machine. If you believe that a purchase terminal appears altered, immediately notify a manager of the facility and do not use that terminal.
